Family Hike

It was a beautiful Sunday for a hike. So beautiful,it made you want to run through the fields. 

Taking it all in and loving it. We really do live in a beautiful place.

On the Job

I love it when Gary takes Ollie and I out to one of his job sites.  It's so fun to check out all his handy work and the different design styles.  He took us to the Griffin house, which is out towards Grandfather Mountain.

This house has an amazing back deck, with a gorgeous view. 

The interior is so pretty. The oak flooring and the wooden railings were some of my favorite features.

Griffin House

Love this house! So proud of Gary and all his hard work. He really has an eye for creating anyone's perfect custom home.  VPC Builders is lucky to have him on their team!

Gettin Out There

Thankfully during the cold winter months there are few nice days that allow you to just get out. We had a beautiful, sunny and relatively warm day last week.  So, we got out there and enjoyed some time at the park.

The Sleepover

Ollie had his first sleepover with John David this past Saturday.  The boys did really well, just the usual sleepover shenanigans...staying up later, watching movies , lots of giggling and not a whole lot of sleep. In the long run, they did finally go to sleep and sleep through the night with the exception of some early morning rising. Ollie was up and ready for the day at 5:30am, ugh that was way too early.  Anyways, I'd say it was successful and that we'd be happy to do it again.
