Ollie sings at BEPC

Ollie's preschool sang at the begining of church service this past Sunday. These kids were so cute and they did such a good job. They sang Go Tell it on the Mountain and This Little Light of Mine.

Harvest Farm Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

Love this little farm, it's just down the road from us in Valle Crucis.  Leigh and I took John David and Ollie to run around the pumpkin patch and corn field this past Friday.

Valle Country Fair

We had lots of fun at the Valle Crucis Fair.  It's one of my favorite fall events.

Pumpkin Time

Ollie and I carved our first pumpkin of Halloween season Friday afternoon. I'm assuming this won't be our only pumpkin carving, considering Halloween is still 2 weeks away. 

He said we needed pictures of me cutting up the pumpkin, so he took one :-)

He also wanted his pumpkin to have a grumpy face and that's what we did.  Ollie was very pleased with the way "Mr Pumpkin Head" turned out.

Oak Island Lighthouse Fun

We've been back 3 weeks since our recent vacation and have been battling 10 days of constant rain here at home. Guess what? We are missing the beach life! I thought posting our short visit to the lighthouse would brighten up this rainy day.
